Annie Lennox - Singer, songwriter and campaigner. Annie is involved in several projects to raise awareness of the devastation caused by HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa. She is an Ambassador and Campaigner for Nelson Mandela’s 46664 Campaign, Oxfam, WHO, Make Poverty History and many grass roots organisations.
Emma Thompson Award-winning actress,director and screenwriter. Emma has travelled widely in Africa on behalf of the charity Actionaid to highlight the adverse effect of HIV/AIDS on people across the continent.
Jon Snow Broadcaster and Journalist Jon is best known as presenter of Channel 4 News. After leaving school, Jon spent a life-changing year as a VSO in eastern Uganda teaching schoolchildren and still remains passionate about the country. He is a prodigious supporter of charities that assist the under-privileged both in the UK and abroad.
Ruby Wax Actress, Comedienne, TV host and Author Ruby is actively involved in several charitable projects seeeking to provide practical care and treatment to those affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.
The Right Honourable Lord Smith of Finsbury Former Member of Parliament (Rt Hon. Chris Smith MP) and Secretary of State for Culture Media and Sport from 1997 to 2001. Lord Smith has a strong commitment to fighting the HIV pandemic with an emphasis on reducing its proliferation in sub-Saharan Africa.
Neil Gerrard Former Member of Parliament for Walthamstow for 18 years until 2010, Neil also served for many years as Chair of the influential All-Party Parliamentary Group on AIDS.
